Peter Clare

Peter comes from a consumer marketing background, having managed brands and delivered successful campaigns for Levis’, Paramount, Sony Playstation and adidas. In 2007 he moved into digital marketing, spearheading website, video and social media strategy at The FA, more recently he was Head of Digital for Bacardi’s portfolio of spirit brands.

Specialising in digital strategy, social media, online video, mobile and web/app development and with career highlights that include launching PlayStation 2 and running the England football team’s website and social media during the 2010 FIFA World Cup, Peter is an invaluable asset to the Seven League team.

 

What’s a typical day for you at Seven League?
Yet to have one. In the last year I’ve worked everywhere from Kazakhstan to Cardiff, Slovakia to Sarajevo.

What’s the best thing about your job?
Variation and constant learning.

Favourite future tech?
Anything with a purpose, that makes life better.

Favourite film?
Swingers (it’s not that type of film!)

Favourite arcade game?
Doubles Dragons, The Red Lion Pub, Somerset (circa 1987).

Sports positions played?
Started up front, finished as five-a-side goal keeper. My career went backwards.

I wish I’d… lived in New York (there’s still time).

One word to describe Seven League:
Evolving.
