55 National Football Associations participate in UEFA’s leagues and competitions. As part of UEFA’s marketing support programme, Seven League have delivered inspirational workshops and produced bespoke digital strategies for 47 of these football organisations.

From France to the Faroe Islands we’ve helped accelerate digital performance no matter the level of resource or capability.

Working with the central UEFA marketing and communication teams, Seven League has provided guidance, insight and practical support. Projects include digital sponsorship, social media strategy, content analysis, reviewing the last two Champions League finals and content planning for EURO 2016. We’ve also helped write UEFA’s long term eSports strategy and are leading on a new marketing initiative to grow the Champions League brand in key regions across Asia.

In May Seven League reviewed the UEFA Champions League Final from a digital perspective, analysing the digital experience from the view of a fan to identify successes, weaknesses and opportunities through digital. This included an assessment of the Champions Festival and in-city experiences for fans at the game, UEFA’s digital fan engagement activities around the Final and sponsor activations on digital. From this, we made a series of recommendations to UEFA on how to leverage digital to enhance future events; each year these are implemented to ensure interest and engagement with the Champions League Final is maximised through digital channels.
