We’ve been working with Spurs since May 2016 with our Founder and CEO working as Spurs’ Chief Digital Strategist and a 7L staff member permanently embedded as the Club’s Head of Digital Content.

The 7L team led the digital strategy and delivery of the hugely successful #TheLaneTheFinale campaign, which marked the final season at Spurs’ former home, White Hart Lane (reaching 300m+ fans, Β delivering 12m+ engagements and over 20m video views).

As part of the campaign, White Hart Lane’s most famous game, the 1984 UEFA Cup Final, was streamed live in its entirety on Facebook as a #ThrowbackThursday (delivering >1m video views). We worked with Hobbynote to deliver personalised bounceback tweets to over 250k fans, we utilised Snapchat Filters and Facebook Frames (delivering reach of 18million+), and fans all over the world watched the final ceremony from the stadium via Facebook Live and YouTube (1.5million viewers, 250k engagements).

7L staff also led the digital component of the Club’s most successful ever kit launch, the first year in partnership with Nike as technical partner. The #WatchUsRise campaign delivered huge opening weekend results. Breaking all previous Club records for a kit launch, this was a fantastic start to a long-term partnership with Nike.

Good digital content is of course about more than just the actual output (there’s lots of planning and processes behind the scenes), but these are some highlights so far…
