The Ryder Cup is one of the most exciting and nail-biting sporting events in the world, but how nervous do the players get when they’re about set foot on the first tee and hit their opening tee shots?

Seven League designed and executed an adrenaline-filled digital activation that gave fans attending the event the opportunity to find out for themselves.

The activation, deployed at Fan Village inside Le Golf National in Paris, tested the nerves of fans in a simulated recreation of the first tee for Ryder Cup principal partner Aberdeen Standard Investment (ASI).

As a result of our work, Ryder Cup 2018 will not only be remembered for being a great tournament, but one that pushed the boundaries in fan engagement and interaction.


Everyone from Seven League was massively enthusiastic about the project from the start and always willing to change and adapt throughout the the process based on our revised needs, with quick and detailed responses at each stage. The activation was superb, very innovative and engaging and I feel we barely scratched the surface of the skills, creativity and expertise the Seven League team have to offer.
