Laureus

Laureus, the global movement which celebrates the power of sport as a force for good, first appointed Seven League in 2017 and we have been involved ever since, working on the Laureus World Sports Awards in 2018 and 2019 as well as leading week-to-week content throughout that period.

Several members of the Seven League team have worked across various aspects of Laureus’ operations including us leading marketing and communications for a period, managing data analysis and social media budgets, and also overseeing the delivery of a new website at Laureus.com, due to go live in Spring 2019.

Seven League admires and shares the Laureus belief that sport has the power to change the world – words which were spoken by Laureus’ first patron, Nelson Mandela, at the inaugural Laureus World Sports Awards in 2000. We are proud to partner with Laureus on the road to their 20th anniversary edition of LWSA in 2020.

I have obviously been aware of Seven League's work in the digital and social media space for some time, especially within the sports rights-holder context, so I am pleased that Laureus can now make full use of that experience and market knowledge to ensure that we continue to drive awareness and understanding of the Laureus project and to maximise the potential audience to our platform for the benefit of both our media and sponsor partners.
