Juventus Football Club
We’ve been working closely with the digital team at Italian football giants Juventus FC since the Autumn of 2013. They’re already multiple Scudetto winners, with a record 32 championships, and now we’re helping them transform their digital performance off the pitch.
Our engagement started with a thorough review of the club’s digital capabilities, highlighting where the club already performed well, and identifying opportunities for improvement. This gave us a deep understanding of Juventus and still acts as the foundation for our support today.
One of the first projects we worked on was to help them find a strategic development partner to rebuild the Juventus website. This started with writing the requirements document, suggesting the list of agencies to receive this, and leading the end to end selection process. The result is what you can see today at Juventus.com, launching on time and on budget, in advance of the 2015/16 Season.
We subsequently supported them with strategic advice on ecommerce and undertaken a major project helping them drive commercial value from their worldwide digital audience.
2017 signaled the fourth year of our relationship with ’16/’17 Champions League finalists Juventus FC. We continue to support the club on the analysis and direction of their international social media content mix, and have played an important advisory role around eSports. Juventus are amongst the many sporting bodies for whom we now offer strategic advice on how they should approach the possibilities opened up by eSports. As with all our clients we provided practical, costed advice on how the club could make an authentic, strategically relevant market entry into esports.
