Seven League were proud to work with the ICC during the most recent Champions Trophy where we ran a sponsored digital activation alongside ICC partners OPPO.
Fans of competing teams were invited to submit selfies of support as part of a mass participation mosaic. Each submission also counted as a vote of support to each fan’s team, which we tracked in real time as a measure of fan support for the team.
The activation was particularly successful in connecting fans from South Asia with their national teams competing in the UK.
The ICC was able to use the tool as a fan engagement and data acquisition tool, whilst encouraging supporters of participating countries to compete between each other for bragging rights as the world’s ‘best’ cricket fans.
