The Packers are unique within the NFL, being the only non-profit, community-owned major league sports team in the United States. They look at things a little differently, hence looking towards Europe when looking for support to accelerate their digital performance.
As with many of our engagements, we started with a root and branch audit of the Packers digital capabilities. Our Research Team undertook detailed analysis of the Packers platform analytics, and a member of our Consultant Team spent several days at Lambeau Field interviewing a range of people across the club. This was back in early 2014, and the Packers still regularly reference the report and recommendations we produced.
More recently we’ve started providing the club with a quarterly white paper on developments with the sports digital arena. Providing them with insights into technological and market developments, and what this may mean to the Packers and their many fans.
