Seven League can confirm that our digital support for Bundesliga International has been extended beyond the end of the current season, following a successful six-month partnership.

The Bundesliga, one of the world’s leading sports leagues and a globally renowned brand, has always been at the forefront of digital innovation. We have led digital partnerships for its international arm, embedded inside the Frankfurt team, since September 2017, and we are delighted to continue this work.

Bundesliga International, a subsidiary of DFL (Deutsche Fußball Liga), is responsible for growing the league globally through the sale of media rights, sponsoring, licensing and digital services.

Seven League’s role has been to assist in managing collaborations with international digital partners, creating value for official broadcasters using digital services and identifying new opportunities for growth in key territories.

Because 7L offers both consultancy and agency solutions, we are able to not only assess the digital health of an organisation and set out a strategy to achieve excellence, but also embed members of our team to deliver this work.

We currently have embedded members of staff at Tottenham Hotspur, the NBA, the FA, England Netball, and Laureus World Sports Awards, as well as our strategic work for clients, such as UEFA, FC Barcelona, Juventus, Newcastle United, Leicester City, Great British Racing, and many others.

Seven League CEO Richard Ayers said: “Our partnership with Bundesliga International is a clear example of us helping the sports industry to grow its global reach and also increase the value of its traditional media partnerships. The Bundesliga is one of the world’s most prestigious sporting brands and we are thrilled to support them in this way.”
